This one-day refresher course is designed for experienced Tactical Commanders who want to revisit core principles, sharpen decision-making, and maintain confidence in leading their organisation through critical incidents.
What is included
Delegates will:
• Refresh their understanding of tactical roles, responsibilities, and command structures • Applying the JESIP principles • Revisit the principles of gaining ‘grip’ and providing clear direction at pace • Strengthen their ability to lead and attend Tactical Coordination Groups effectively and with increased confidence • Practice structured decision-making and risk assessment under pressure
This training will include a number of small exercises and a realistic, locally based major incident exercise of your choice. This will be linked to your risk register and developed in consultation with your organisation to ensure we test your plans, maximise learning and deliver the outcomes you require.
