This one-day, single and multi-agency tailored course is designed to build confidence and capability in leaders who may be required to attend or chair a Strategic (SCG) or Tactical (TCG) Coordination Group during a major incident.
• Observe and participate in SCG or TCG meetings • Applying the JESIP principles at every level, at scene and in meetings • Practice chairing meetings and leading discussions • Practice opening a SCG or TCG and setting the tone ‘Professional, open & collaborative • Develop skills to provide briefings and updates to strategic and executive leaders • Develop confidence in decision-making and coordination under pressure
